Trip to Ocean City, NJ
We just got back from a super trip to Ocean City, NJ where mom met up with some of her family and we all hung out on the beach. Grandpa Jake rented two houses for us. We stayed with Aunt Jackie and Uncle Mike in the Donahue's house, and Grandpa stayed down the road with Aunt Megan, Uncle Chris and their kids, Lucia and Aidan. We would meet up to hang out at the beach during the day and go to the boardwalk at night. It was just like old times when mom used to go as a kid. Katie really enjoyed playing with cousin Aidan who is just turned one year old a week ago. They squealed, shared toys, drank out of each other's bottles, and banged on the front door. Kate has seriously improved her crawl speed since spending time with him too. He's adorable! Aunt Jackie and Uncle Mike were able to spend a lot of time with baby Kate. And of all the possible names, it seems Kate wanted to say "Mike" the most. It comes out like "mmmik" though. Katie was a total dream on the trip. She danced, played, splashed in the ocean, ate sand, and took really long naps. Thank you Grandpa for planning such a great vacation for us.
